Shin Hye-sung Sent to Prosecution on Charges of Refusing Breath Test and Illegal Use of Vehicle
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Shin Hyesung of the group Shinhwa, who is accused of driving another person's car while intoxicated and refusing a breathalyzer test, has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 15th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that Shin was sent to the prosecution without detention on charges of refusing a breathalyzer test and illegal use of a vehicle. The theft charge was reportedly not applied as intentionality was not proven.
Shin was arrested on the early morning of the 11th of last month at Tancheon 2 Bridge in Songpa-gu, Seoul, for refusing the police's request for a breathalyzer test.

Regarding riding in another person's car, Shin explained that he was so intoxicated that he mistook it for his own car and opened the door and got in himself.
