Professor Kang Seonghun of Korea University Guro Hospital Receives 'Na Deokryeol Young Researcher Award'
Contributions to the Advancement of Dementia and Cognitive Decline Research
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] Korea University Guro Hospital announced that Professor Kang Seong-hoon of the Department of Neurology received the 'Na Deok-ryeol Young Researcher Award' at the 2022 Korean Dementia Association Autumn Conference held on the 12th.
The Na Deok-ryeol Young Researcher Award is given to researchers under the age of 40 who have achieved outstanding research accomplishments in the fields of dementia and cognitive neuroscience.
Professor Kang was recognized for his contributions to academic development, having published 13 papers related to dementia and cognitive decline in SCI(E) journals, including the American Neurological Association's journal 'Neurology' over the past two years, earning him the award.

Professor Kang said, "Although I still have much to improve, I believe the association gave me this award as encouragement to work harder," adding, "I am honored to receive this great award and will continue to conduct excellent research in the field of dementia to meet expectations."
