The event took place in major business sites of each company located in Seongnam, Incheon, Gunsan, and Gyeongju. Activities included kimchi sharing and plogging to pick up trash. In particular, to support vulnerable local communities burdened by the sharply rising costs of kimchi-making compared to previous years, a kimchi sharing event was held.
Cho Youngcheol, President of Hyundai Genuine, participated in the kimchi sharing event in Incheon; Choi Cheolgon, President of Hyundai Construction Equipment, and Lee Dongwook, President of Hyundai Genuine, took part in Bundang; and Oh Seunghyun, CEO of Hyundai Doosan Infracore, joined in Gunsan. About 500 employees personally made kimchi and spent time caring for their neighbors. The 8,800 bags of kimchi made by employees from the three companies will be delivered to 2,500 vulnerable households through local social welfare organizations.
