Governor Park Wansu of Gyeongnam Province and heads of local forestry cooperatives attended a meeting related to the forestry cooperatives.

The meeting was attended by Governor Park, Kang Juho, Head of the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Forest Cooperative Federation, and heads of local forest cooperatives from 15 cities and counties within the province.
The attendees shared opinions on ▲ the development of forest cooperatives to increase the income of forest owners and forestry workers ▲ strengthening the role of forest cooperatives and support measures.
They also listened to and discussed current issues related to the smooth promotion of forest projects.
At the meeting, the forest cooperatives proposed plans for promoting erosion control projects, expanding support for forest management guidance activities, revitalizing eco-friendly wood processing facilities, and contributing to green growth through joint efforts to achieve carbon neutrality goals.
