Seodaemun-gu Holds Resource Circulation Campaign on the 19th with the '2050 Carbon Neutral Citizen Action Group'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Seongheon Lee) is holding a resource circulation campaign for proper waste separation and recycling together with the ‘2050 Carbon Neutral Citizen Action Group.’
On the 19th of this month, from 1 PM to 5 PM, at the Seodaemun Dubakwi Environmental Center, the event will include education on waste separation methods, creating ‘My Own Forest’ using bottles, a waste separation OX quiz, and recycling collection.
The education and crafting sessions are aimed at residents including children aged 5 and above, and those interested can apply through the Dubakwi Environmental Center blog by the 15th of this month.
There will be two sessions: the first from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM and the second from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, each accommodating about 7 families and around 20 people, with a total of approximately 40 participants.
All other programs are open to anyone on the day without prior registration, allowing participants to gain information about waste separation and recycling through the OX quiz and learn practical ways to save energy in daily life.
Additionally, cleanly washed recyclable items such as milk cartons or ice packs can be brought in and will be delivered to places where resource circulation is needed.
