Along with this agreement, the city has established a comprehensive plan to support the distribution and expansion of smart factories and completed budget allocation to back the successful promotion of the project.
Through the agreement, Gyeongbuk Technopark and the city plan to establish a mutual cooperation system not only for supporting the distribution and expansion of smart factories but also for policy development, network building, and business and promotional exchanges aimed at regional industrial development.
Mayor Kim Jang-ho said, “In the rapidly changing flow of the manufacturing industry, the introduction of smart factories is essential to strengthen corporate competitiveness. I hope today’s business agreement will become a cornerstone for companies to change themselves.”
He added, “I hope Gyeongbuk Technopark will continue to closely cooperate in discovering and promoting industrial policies.”
