From AI to Healthcare... Woori Financial Selects 14 Supported Startups
Support for Space Provision and Investment Attraction Programs
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Woori Financial Group has selected and will support 14 startups in various fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), data, and healthcare.
Woori Financial Group announced on the 3rd that it has selected startups to participate in the 3.5th batch of the startup collaboration program ‘Dino Lab.’
The judging panel consisted of 13 internal and external experts, including on-site practitioners from group subsidiaries such as Woori Bank, Woori Card, Woori Investment & Securities, Woori FIS, and Woori Financial Capital, as well as venture capital and acceleration managers. Among 271 applicant companies, 14 were selected.
The final selected companies are ▲Learning Point ▲Robotree ▲Logichain ▲Luiten Technologies ▲Microft ▲Seas Data ▲S&E Company ▲Winkstone Partners ▲Unimeo ▲Taxbee ▲Tilda ▲Peoples Health ▲Headless ▲Homecheck.
They will move into the ‘Dino Lab 2nd Center,’ a specialized center focused on new technologies such as AI and mobility, as well as ESG (environment, social, and governance). In addition, they will be provided with capacity-building programs and investment opportunities from external experts in venture capital, taxation, and law. Business cooperation with Woori Financial Group companies and overseas expansion through Dino Lab Vietnam will also be possible.
Son Tae-seung, Chairman of Woori Financial Group, said, “We will create an ecosystem where startups can grow together,” adding, “We will continuously create differentiated services based on customer-friendly digital new technologies together with Dino Lab companies.”
