Get Friendly with Software! ... Dongmyeong University Hosts the '2nd Youth SW Experience Camp'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Elementary and middle school students spent time getting familiar with software by experiencing various activities using robots.
The SW-Centered University Project Group of Dongmyung University co-hosted the "2022 2nd Youth SW Experience Camp" over two days, on the 29th and 30th, at the Geumryeonsan Youth Training Center in Busan.
The event was held to share the value of software with the local community through SW education such as autonomous vehicle control and robotic arm control experiences, and to increase students' interest and understanding of software.
The event was completely free of charge, with a total of 90 elementary and middle school students from the Busan area participating.

The program was conducted in three groups, starting with safety education, followed by making a recycling sorter using a robotic arm, building an Arduino autonomous vehicle, and Code-Drone (coding and drone) activities using robots.
