Jeju Fire Station Conducts Special Training for Safety Accident Prevention
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Jeju Fire Station (Chief Go Jae-woo) announced on the 1st that from the 1st to the 3rd, it will conduct the ‘119 Life Safety Corps Special Education Training’ for about 100 life safety personnel at the Jeju Fire Station main conference room and front yard.
This training was prepared to strengthen the expertise of life safety personnel and to prevent safety accidents during field activities.
The number of life safety dispatches within the jurisdiction of Jeju Fire Station reached 3,582 cases in 2021 and 2,656 cases as of September 2022.
The training contents included theoretical and practical education on fire door lock release devices, education on capturing and repelling animals and bees, methods for removing dangers and rescue activities related to entrapment and isolation, and safety accident prevention education for life safety activities of field personnel.
A Jeju Fire Station official said, “As life safety dispatches continue to occur steadily, we will prepare and conduct various trainings and do our best for the safety of the residents.”
