View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Noh Kyung-jo] Dongbu Construction announced on the 31st that it has signed a winning bid contract with Korea Electric Power Corporation for the power duct construction of electrical supply facilities in the Incheon area. The total construction amount is 39.2 billion KRW, and Dongbu Construction will act as the lead contractor with an 80% stake.
This project involves installing four 154kV transmission lines as 1,470m-long underground cables and connecting the system to expand the power supply capacity of the passenger terminal in Songdo New City and the Aam Logistics Complex in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. The construction period is 33 months from the start date.
With this, Dongbu Construction has achieved approximately 550 billion KRW in orders in the public construction sector so far this year. In terms of public construction order rankings, it ranked 2nd in 2019 and 4th in 2020. This year, it is currently ranked 4th as of the first half.
