Gyeonggi Office of Education Holds Private School Administrative Director 'Job Training' for the First Time in 3 Years
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will conduct a job training session for administrative directors of private schools in the province over two days, from the 27th to the 28th.
This training was planned with the purpose of sharing the direction of Gyeonggi education under the 5th elected administration and major policies with private schools in the province, and to strengthen communication on the ground. It is the first such training in three years since 2019.
The training will be held at Maremons Hotel in Gangwon Province, with about 250 participants including administrative directors of 248 private schools under 152 school corporations in the province, as well as personnel in charge of private school affairs.
On the first day of training, there will be sharing of major Gyeonggi education policies and education on understanding the duties related to school corporation management. On the second day, group discussions will be held on topics such as creating a balanced educational environment between public and private schools and strengthening the public nature of private schools.

Kim Kwang-seop, head of the Private School Support Division at the Gyeonggi Office of Education, emphasized, "It is very meaningful that private school institutions in the province, which had few opportunities for communication after COVID-19, have gathered in one place." He added, "We will continue to seek balanced development and support measures between public and private schools through communication and collaboration with the field."
