Sales of 4.19 Trillion KRW, Operating Profit of 324 Billion KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] Samsung C&T Corporation's construction division's sales in the third quarter of this year improved by more than 70% compared to the same period last year. Operating profit also turned positive this year.
Samsung C&T's construction division announced on the 26th that its consolidated sales for the third quarter of this year were preliminarily estimated at 4.19 trillion KRW, an increase of 1.783 trillion KRW (74.1%) compared to 2.407 trillion KRW in the same period last year.
Operating profit turned positive, increasing by 454 billion KRW to 324 billion KRW from a loss of 130 billion KRW in the same period last year.
Construction orders amounted to a cumulative 13.6 trillion KRW, achieving 81.4% of the annual forecast (16.7 trillion KRW).
