How Far Has the Research on Eco-Friendly Composite Materials Progressed?
Changwon National University to Host 'ICGC 11' Starting November 2
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Se-ryeong Lee] The New Materials Research Center at the Mechatronics Research Institute of Changwon National University will host the ‘ICGC 11 (The 11th International Conference on Green Composites)’ from November 2 to 4 at the Changwon Convention Center (CECO).
ICGC is a representative international academic conference in the field of eco-friendly composite materials, which started with the 1st conference held at Tokushima University in Japan in 2002, and has since been held at major universities in Korea, Japan, and China, including Seoul National University.
About 200 participants, including domestic and international university professors, experts, and graduate students in the field of eco-friendly composite materials, are expected to attend this conference.
The conference will be conducted in a hybrid format combining online and offline participation, with papers presented on 11 main topics including ▲natural fiber composites ▲biodegradable composites ▲modeling and simulation of eco-friendly composites ▲eco-friendly processes and technologies ▲product application research.
