Seongnam City Hosts Job Fair from 26th to 31st... 198 Hires from 47 Companies
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province is holding an on- and offline job fair.
Seongnam City announced on the 25th that it will hold a job fair titled "Hope of Tomorrow (My Job)" from the 26th to the 31st of this month, with 47 companies participating to hire 198 people.
On the first day of the event, from 2 to 4 p.m., on-site interviews will be conducted at the 12th-floor auditorium of the Seongnam Industrial Complex Corporation in Sangdaewon 1-dong, Jungwon-gu. Twenty-nine companies, including Sunhwan Engineering Co., Ltd., Inopia Tech Co., Ltd., NQRT Co., Ltd., and Doing C&S Co., Ltd., will participate that day.
Additionally, on the 28th and 31st, five companies including NIT Korea Co., Ltd. and Knowledge System Co., Ltd. will hire 17 people through video interviews. The remaining 13 companies will hire 45 people through company visit interviews.
Seongnam citizens seeking jobs can bring their resumes to visit the on-site interview company booths or participate in video interviews.
On the day of the on-site interviews (October 26), the city will hold side events such as employment consulting, resume ID photo shooting, fingerprint aptitude tests, and job system guidance.
The city will also operate a free shuttle bus between the Sangdaewon 1-dong event venue and nearby locations. It can be boarded at the airport bus stop in front of Homeplus, near Exit 4 of Yatap Station, at 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. on that day.

A city official explained, "We have prepared a place for on- and offline meetings between companies seeking to hire and job seekers hoping to find employment to revitalize the employment market, which has been depressed due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic."
