20s Man Arrested in Possession of Drugs Bought via Telegram at Home
Suspected Violation of the Narcotics Control Act
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man who used methamphetamine at his home was arrested by the police.
On the 24th, the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul announced that they arrested a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, on the 19th on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act and are currently investigating.
Mr. A is suspected of using methamphetamine at his home around 8:20 PM on the 19th. The police reportedly found a small amount of methamphetamine on the bathroom ceiling during the arrest.
Mr. A tested positive for drugs in a simple reagent test and reportedly told the police that he purchased methamphetamine through Telegram.
