This joint inspection will be operated by an enforcement team composed of the Ulleung-gun Health and Medical Center, smoking cessation counselors, smoking cessation instructors, Ulleung Police Station, and the Environmental Hygiene Division.
The inspection will focus on public facilities and designated smoke-free zones according to ordinances, especially public offices, medical facilities, schools and daycare centers along with school protection zones, gas stations, restaurants, and other places where fines for smoking violations are frequently imposed.
Inspection items include the posting of signs and stickers indicating smoke-free zones, compliance with standards for installing smoking rooms within facilities, and smoking behaviors within smoke-free zones.
