Hanjin Kal Ethics Management Committee Advances Group Compliance Capability Enhancement
Seminar Held for Representatives of 7 Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hanjin Group announced on the 20th that it held an employee seminar to strengthen the group's compliance capabilities at the Korean Air Talent Development Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, the day before.
Hanjin Group decided to hold a seminar to improve employees' compliance awareness and enhance compliance work capabilities as part of strengthening group compliance activities through the Hanjin KAL Ethics Management Committee.
The seminar, attended by about 40 employees in charge of compliance work from seven group companies including Hanjin KAL, Korean Air, Hanjin, Jin Air, Korea Airports, Hanjin Information & Communications, and Topas Travel Information, consisted of sessions introducing the activities of the Hanjin KAL Ethics Management Committee and invited lectures by external compliance management experts.
Hanjin Group employees attending the seminar listened to a lecture on the concept of corporate ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) management and domestic and international ESG trends by Kim Dong-su, Director of Kim & Chang ESG Management Research Institute, and a lecture on the tasks for realizing ethical management by Kang Won-hyuk, CEO of C&I M Group. They also actively engaged in in-depth discussions on Hanjin Group's ESG management direction and ways to realize ethical management.
