DL E&C and CarbonCo Sign Joint Business Agreement on Eco-Friendly Hydrogen with South Australian Government

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] DL E&C and Carbonco (CARBONCO) announced on the 17th that they have signed a 'Joint Business Agreement to Promote the Activation of the Eco-friendly Hydrogen Economy' with the Government of South Australia.
The signing ceremony held on the 13th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Jongno-gu, Seoul, was attended by Peter Malinauskas, Premier of the Government of South Australia, DL E&C CEO Ma Chang-min, and Carbonco Head of Business Development Yoo Jae-hyung, among others.
DL E&C, Carbonco, and the Government of South Australia have joined hands to accelerate the development of an eco-friendly hydrogen economy in the South Australia region. Both parties agreed to jointly promote △exchange of equipment and expertise for the production of eco-friendly hydrogen and derivative products △development of strategic partnerships to secure global competitiveness △research partnerships and project execution to accelerate decarbonization △development of the domestic market through the establishment of eco-friendly hydrogen supply and utilization infrastructure.
Earlier, the Government of South Australia announced a plan to produce 100% renewable energy by 2030, aiming to become a world-class eco-friendly hydrogen supplier. To achieve this goal, they also plan to promote legislation related to accelerating the eco-friendly hydrogen economy.
DL E&C has been recognized for its differentiated competitiveness in the hydrogen and ammonia business sectors through the execution of numerous hydrogen production plant EPC projects domestically and internationally. Based on this, DL E&C and Carbonco will actively participate in the production and infrastructure construction projects of eco-friendly hydrogen and derivative products in cooperation with the Government of South Australia.

Meanwhile, DL E&C established the specialized company Carbonco last August to expand its eco-friendly decarbonization business. Carbonco carries out CCUS and eco-friendly hydrogen projects.
