Mokpo City Council Receives Citizen Opinions on Administrative Audit
Opinions to be collected from October 17 to November 4 and actively reflected in the audit
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Hyeong-seok] The Mokpo City Council is collecting citizens' opinions ahead of the '2022 Administrative Affairs Audit' to be held next month.
The 'Administrative Affairs Audit' is one of the council's oversight powers over the executive branch, conducting an audit of the overall affairs of the executive agency within 9 days during the regular session each year.
The collection of citizens' opinions for the Administrative Affairs Audit has been implemented by the Mokpo City Council since 2020 to realize open governance together with citizens.
Citizens can submit their opinions for 19 days from the 17th of this month until November 4th.
Opinions regarding unjust or unreasonable policies, policies requiring improvement, budget waste, various corruption, immoral administration, and overall matters related to the Administrative Affairs Audit can be submitted by downloading the opinion submission form from the Administrative Affairs Audit opinion collection popup on the Mokpo City Council website and sending it via email or fax.
A representative of the Mokpo City Council stated, “Submitted citizens' opinions will be reviewed internally and actively reflected in the audit. However, matters involving personal privacy infringement, ongoing trials or investigations, completed audits, and malicious or personal attack audit requests will be excluded.”
