On the afternoon of the 13th, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea National Oil Corporation, and the Self-Service Discount Gas Station Association jointly conducted a campaign at a discount gas station in the Daejeon area to establish a sound petroleum distribution order.
This public-private joint campaign was organized to prevent acts that disrupt distribution order such as illegal petroleum sales, enhance transparency in the distribution process, and promote a culture of integrity.
The discount gas station operators participating in the campaign reaffirmed their commitment to practicing a sound distribution order, including prohibiting the sale of substandard quality products and adhering to accurate quantities. They also promoted efforts to strengthen quality so that customers can trust and purchase with confidence.

The Korea National Oil Corporation is promoting the enrollment of discount gas stations in the quality certification program and expanding computerized reporting together with the Petroleum Management Service to eradicate illegal petroleum transactions and strengthen distribution transparency.
