Busan City Holds Public Forum... Accelerating the Development of Public Institution Efficiency Measures
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan City will hold a “Citizen Forum for Establishing Measures to Improve the Efficiency of Public Institutions” at 2:30 PM on the 12th in the large conference room on the 2nd floor of the Busan City Council.
The forum was organized to explain to citizens the “Measures to Improve the Efficiency of Public Institutions,” which reflect the “Innovation Directions for Public Institutions in the 8th Mayoral Term” announced by the Pledge Promotion Planning Team on August 1 and the results of the “Busan City Public Institution Management Efficiency Research Project” promoted by the city, and to listen to opinions from various sectors through discussion.
The forum will proceed in the order of opening remarks, keynote presentation, and comprehensive discussion.
First, in the keynote presentation, Researcher Seo Myung-ho of Ryan & Co., who has been leading the “Busan City Public Institution Management Efficiency Research Project,” will present on the “Measures to Improve the Efficiency of Public Institutions in Busan City.”
The main contents include ▲unifying the residential welfare support function under Busan Urban Corporation ▲actively responding to the downsizing of the cycle racing business through the integration of the Facilities Corporation and Spo1 ▲strengthening municipal research functions through the integration of research functions ▲supporting the integrated provision of welfare services by life cycle through strengthening welfare business execution functions.
In the comprehensive discussion, Professor Lee Sang-chul of the Department of Public Policy at Pusan National University will serve as the chair, with Kim Jeong-hwan, Secretary General of YWCA, Nam Jeong-eun, Officer in charge of Financial Innovation, and Seo Myung-ho, Researcher at Ryan & Co., participating as discussants.
