On the 12th at 9 a.m., Changwon Special City held the ‘8th Term Pledge Project Execution Report Meeting’ in the 3rd conference room, attended by the mayor, the 1st and 2nd deputy mayors, heads of departments and offices, and heads of departments responsible for pledge-related tasks.
This ‘Pledge Project Execution Report Meeting’ was organized to properly design the direction for future pledge implementation, accelerate the promotion of pledges, and enhance execution capability.
Under the 8th term administrative vision of ‘Northeast Asia’s Central City, Changwon,’ the city plans to incorporate the hopes and requests of 1.03 million Changwon Special City citizens into a total of 72 pledges, adding synergy to the future image that Changwon aims to achieve.
The 8th term pledges are divided into five strategic categories: ▲ Innovation-driven economic foundation strategy with 12 pledges including ‘Early normalization of the nuclear power industry,’ ▲ Inclusive welfare and happy ecology creation strategy with 14 pledges including ‘Establishment of Changwon Mom Community Center,’ ▲ Cultural and environmental quality city creation strategy with 20 pledges including ‘Construction of K-Culture Education Center,’ ▲ Integrated urban spatial structure reorganization strategy with 21 pledges including ‘Initiation of Grand Design planning for Masan Bay regeneration,’ and ▲ Youth dreams and hope realization strategy with 5 pledges including ‘Establishment of a Youth Policy Officer directly under the mayor.’
The report meeting proceeded in the form of reporting the goals, promotion directions, and implementation plans for all 72 pledges, with focused discussions on some pledge projects to seek ways to enhance execution capability, making it a serious session.
Based on the results of the meeting, the city will supplement detailed implementation plans, and the finalized plans will be disclosed through the city’s official website. The progress of pledge implementation will be checked quarterly and results shared accordingly.
