Gwangju Bank-Gwangju City, 2022 Second Half Small Business Special Guarantee Agreement
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank recently announced on the 11th that it signed the '2022 Second Half Special Guarantee Agreement for Small Business Owners' with Gwangju Metropolitan City and Gwangju Credit Guarantee Foundation at Gwangju City Hall, attended by Kang Ki-jung, Mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City, and Lee Woo-kyung, Vice President of Gwangju Bank.
The 2022 second half special guarantee project for small business owners is a project in which Gwangju Metropolitan City and three banks contribute 3.5 billion KRW to the Gwangju Credit Guarantee Foundation, and Gwangju Metropolitan City supports a 2.0% interest subsidy for one year.
Gwangju Bank contributed 1 billion KRW to the Gwangju Credit Guarantee Foundation to alleviate the management difficulties of small enterprises, small business owners, and self-employed individuals located in Gwangju Metropolitan City who are struggling due to high inflation, high exchange rates, and prolonged regional economic recession, and to expand financial support. It decided to support a total of 33.3 billion KRW in special guarantee loans for small business owners in the second half of 2022.
The support targets are small enterprises, small business owners, and self-employed individuals located in the Gwangju area recommended by Gwangju Bank or Gwangju Credit Guarantee Foundation, with up to 30 million KRW per company, and the loan period is within 5 years.
