Sancheong-gun Launches Zero Pay Promotion Event with Prize Draw ... 'Sancheong Love Gift Certificate' Provided
Up to 500,000 KRW Provided for Purchases Over 50,000 KRW
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is conducting a prize event to promote Zero Pay.
This event, held in collaboration with the Gyeongnam Small Business Association, will run until the 31st to stimulate local consumption and promote Zero Pay.
Customers who pay 50,000 KRW or more per transaction using Zero Pay at affiliated stores can enter a drawing to win mobile Sancheong Love Gift Certificates ranging from 10,000 KRW up to 500,000 KRW, with a total of 461 winners.
The prizes are distributed as follows: 1st prize 500,000 KRW (1 winner), 2nd prize 300,000 KRW (10 winners), 3rd prize 100,000 KRW (20 winners), 4th prize 50,000 KRW (30 winners), and 5th prize 10,000 KRW (400 winners).
The prizes will be delivered as mobile Sancheong Love Gift Certificates within 30 days after the event ends.
One entry is allowed per transaction of 50,000 KRW or more, and there is no limit to the number of entries.
However, to participate in the event, individuals must agree in advance to the ‘Marketing Information Reception Consent Terms and Event Personal Information Use/Outsourcing Consent’ section in the Zero Pay app for automatic entry.
A county official stated, “We hope many will participate in this event, which supports small business owners struggling due to COVID-19 by allowing them to purchase Sancheong Love Gift Certificates at a 10% discount and also receive prizes.”
The mobile Sancheong Love Gift Certificates can be purchased at a 10% discounted price, with a maximum monthly purchase limit of 400,000 KRW per person, and can be gifted to family, friends, and acquaintances.
Zero Pay payments reduce the payment fee burden for small business owners and self-employed individuals, effectively helping both merchants and users by promoting local consumption.
It is especially gaining attention as a contactless and safe payment method in the COVID-19 era.
