Yuanta Securities Launches Mobile Bangashurangse Subscription Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Yuanta Securities announced on the 26th that it has launched a mobile bancassurance service that allows insurance subscription through T-Rader M (MTS) without visiting in person.
Bancassurance refers to a comprehensive financial service where sellers other than insurance companies, such as securities firms and banks, act as financial institution agents to sell insurance products from partnered insurers on consignment, offering relatively affordable premiums.
The mobile bancassurance service can be accessed through the insurance channel within T-Rader M, enabling customers to easily compare, design, and subscribe to various insurance products, enhancing customer convenience. To mark the launch, a variety of products available only via mobile subscription will be introduced, including savings insurance, protection insurance, variable insurance, and foreign currency insurance. Additionally, customers who previously subscribed through branches will be able to pay premiums directly via mobile.
To celebrate the service launch, an event will be held until November 30th where customers who perform a simple design and check premiums via the T-Rader M app will receive a Starbucks Americano (limited to the first 200 people), and those who complete a simple design and subscription will receive a Starbucks slice cake and Americano set (limited to the first 150 people, subject to subscription conditions; see website for details).
