KOTRA Volunteers for Mural Painting on the Wall of Seoul Narae School
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KOTRA announced on the 25th that 35 employees and their families participated in a volunteer activity to paint murals at Seoul Narae School, located in Yeomgok-dong, Seoul.
Seoul Narae School is a public special school attended by 120 students with physical disabilities, ranging from kindergarten to high school. They participated in the mural painting activity to brighten and secure the students' commute by painting on the cement walls.
This volunteer activity was conducted in collaboration with the social enterprise "The Grim Company," which connects facilities in need of murals with groups wishing to volunteer and provides expert support from preparation to completion of the mural painting.
The completed mural was designed to convey a message of dreams and hope to physically disabled students with limited mobility, depicting children holding hands and freely flying in the sky.
