Gwangju Bank's Business Agreement to Support Carbon Neutral Companies for 'ESG Management Expansion'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank signed a 'Financial Support Business Agreement for Carbon Neutral Companies to Expand ESG Management' with the Honam Sales Headquarters of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund at its headquarters on the 23rd.
This agreement was made to strengthen financial support for local small and medium-sized enterprises contributing to carbon neutrality, such as greenhouse gas reduction, through mutual cooperation between the two organizations, aiming to expand ESG management in the region.
According to the agreement, Gwangju Bank will provide an interest rate discount of up to 0.5 percentage points, and the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund plans to support credit guarantees along with consulting on greenhouse gas reduction calculations for companies practicing carbon neutrality.
