[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Shinhan Bank announced on the 22nd that it is the official sponsor of the exhibition "MMCA Lee Kun-hee Collection Special Exhibition: Monet and Picasso, Beautiful Moments in Paris," held at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Gwacheon, located in Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi Province.
The Lee Kun-hee Collection is themed around Paris, where a total of eight artists including Monet, Picasso, Gauguin, and Renoir were actively working. The exhibition will feature paintings and ceramics, drawing attention for allowing visitors to view works by world-renowned masters all at once.
Through this sponsorship, Shinhan Bank collaborates with the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, which offers free admission to the general public, to support the cultural and artistic fields. It also continues programs such as the 'Shinhan Young Artist Festa,' a support program for emerging artists, and special exhibitions showcasing works by disabled artists like Kim Hyun-woo, in partnership with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture.
