Sacheon City Hosts Gyeongsangnam-do Governor's Natural Protection Competition

The "25th Gyeongsangnam-do Governor's Natural Protection Competition" was held at Samcheonpo Bridge Park in Sacheon City.

About 1,000 members of the Gyeongsangnam-do Natural Protection Council, including Park Wan-su, Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do, Park Dong-sik, Mayor of Sacheon, Kim Jin-bu, Chairman of the Gyeongsangnam-do Council, and Yoon Hyung-geun, Chairman of the Sacheon City Council, attended the competition.
Organized by the Sacheon City Council of the Natural Protection Federation, the event included the reading of the Natural Protection Charter, awards for contributors to natural protection, and the competition itself.
The event was hosted by the Gyeongsangnam-do Council of the Natural Protection Federation and sponsored by Gyeongsangnam-do and Sacheon City.
In particular, a meaningful time was provided to raise awareness of the seriousness of environmental pollution, the protection of the natural environment, and the necessity of carbon neutrality through various activities related to the natural environment, such as an environmental photo exhibition, environmental cleanup activities, and a harmony festival.
Mayor Park said, “I thank the members of the Natural Protection Council who are dedicated to local natural protection activities and serve for the development of the natural protection movement,” adding, “We must have a sense of mission in loving the environment and practicing various actions for natural protection.”
