Dongwon F&B 'Grilly', 4th Generation Refrigerated Ham Reproducing the Taste of Fire-Grilled Meat
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Dongwon F&B's direct-fire ham brand 'Grilly' is gaining attention as a 4th generation refrigerated ham by faithfully replicating the taste of meat grilled over fire.
In 2016, Dongwon F&B became the first in the industry to introduce oven and grill equipment, launching differentiated products that faithfully capture the flavor of fire-grilled meat and creating a new refrigerated ham market called 'direct-fire ham.' Recently, they newly launched the brand Grilly, which integrates the direct-fire ham product line, and are expanding the lineup with various everyday products such as square ham, frankfurters, chicken breast, and bacon. Dongwon F&B plans to grow Grilly into a brand worth approximately 50 billion KRW by the end of this year.

Grilly uses pork or chicken that has been aged at low temperature and grills it twice?once in an oven at 250~300℃ and once on a direct-fire grill at 500℃?to deliver rich meat juices and a deep smoky flavor. The ham first grilled in the high-temperature oven has a golden exterior and juicy interior, making it moist, and grilling it once more on the direct-fire grill brings out a strong smoky taste. It is healthy as it contains no synthetic additives such as flavor enhancers, preservatives, antioxidants, or colorants that produce the smoky flavor.
