"Meeting the Needs of All Stakeholders in Investment and Exit"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] IPO Bridge announced on the 21st that it signed a business agreement with Law Firm Suojae (CEO Kwon Kijun) on the 19th to support venture and startup investment and exit. IPO Bridge is a specialized company supporting IR and IPO for ventures and startups, discovering technology companies and assisting with investment attraction, growth forecasting, and exit modeling.
Law Firm Suojae is a law firm with strengths in supporting venture and startup investment attraction and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). In August, it supported a 30 billion KRW scale M&A between a domestic mobile software company and an Italian company, and provides advisory services to over 100 startups annually.
Through this business agreement, both companies plan to establish a mutual cooperation system and engage in professional venture and startup support with cooperation areas including ▲ joint development and operation of venture and startup support service products ▲ practical cooperation for investment attraction and exit consulting ▲ priority linkage of outsourced tasks needed during venture and startup advisory ▲ discovery of excellent companies and investment support.
Im Byung-eul, CEO of IPO Bridge, said, "It is meaningful to connect IPO Bridge’s strengths in maximizing corporate value and data analysis capabilities with Suojae’s strengths in risk management and organizational, institutional, and regulatory solution capabilities during the investment attraction and exit (IPO, M&A, etc.) process of ventures and startups."
Kwon Kijun, CEO of Law Firm Suojae, said, "Not only ventures and startups aiming to be invested in or acquired but also investors and acquirers have a strong need for concrete data analysis and legal and institutional risk reduction. Through collaboration between the two companies, we can satisfy the needs of all stakeholders in investment and exit and increase the likelihood of project success."
Meanwhile, on October 20, IPO Bridge will host the '2022 Intergreen CnA Partnering' event in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, where Law Firm Suojae will participate as an M&A support and advisory institution, conducting consultation sessions with participating companies and marking the first cooperation after the agreement.
