Namyang Dairy Launches Plant Milk 'Almond Day'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Namyang Dairy Products announced on the 21st that it will launch ‘Almond Day,’ a plant milk made with 100% California almonds.
Almond Day will be released in two varieties: ‘Original,’ which allows you to enjoy the unique nutty flavor of almonds, and ‘Unsweet,’ a healthy option with no added sugar. It features a roasting method that optimally brings out the aroma and flavor of almonds, making it richer and nuttier, and uses a freeze-grinding almond process to preserve the full taste.
The company expects Almond Day to be an excellent meal replacement product for consumers who are interested in diet management and exercise, as it contains a light 35 kcal (based on the Unsweet product), vitamin E, and calcium. Additionally, it is seen as a good alternative for consumers who are lactose intolerant and cannot consume milk or who have soy milk allergies.
