[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Toggle and Finnq have joined forces to offer Finnq customers a variety of daily insurance products, including lifestyle-oriented one-day insurance.
Toggle Insurance Service, a subsidiary of Openplan, an insurtech startup operating the lifestyle insurance platform 'Toggle,' announced on the 20th that it has formed a strategic partnership with fintech company Finnq to expand the Toggle service.
Finnq, whose 70% of users belong to the MZ generation, operates an insurance mall that aggregates and compares various insurance products according to customers' lifestyles. Kwon Young-tak, CEO of Finnq, stated, "We partnered with Toggle, a personalized lifestyle insurance platform that offers various benefits and high convenience reflecting the insurance consumption tendencies of the MZ generation who voluntarily seek necessary information."
Under this partnership, Toggle plans to continuously target the travel insurance market by offering driver insurance, one-day hole-in-one (golf) insurance, and one-day leisure accident insurance through Finnq, as well as overseas travel insurance for travelers whose demand has increased following the recent abolition of pre-entry PCR tests, and domestic travel insurance ahead of the year-end season.
Toggle will strengthen ongoing cooperation with Finnq in developing additional new products. The company plans to actively expand partnerships across various fields to provide diverse consumer-centered insurance services.
