The ordinance stipulates necessary matters for supporting adult walkers to alleviate inconveniences and improve convenience for elderly residents in Gwangju who have difficulty walking in daily life.
Councilor An Pyeonghwan stated, "The proposal was made to secure safe walking rights for the elderly through support for adult walkers and to promote a healthy life in old age by reducing accidents caused by falls."
