October 20 Event at County Office... Advance Consultation Reservations Until November 5 -
Various Civil Complaints Consultations Including Labor, Legal, and Social Welfare
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong County is operating the ‘Running People's Petition Office’ in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission to resolve local residents' grievances.
According to the county on the 15th, the ‘Running People's Petition Office,’ which provides consultations on residents' daily issues such as administration, legal matters, and welfare benefits, will be held on October 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the county office's main conference room.
The ‘Running People's Petition Office’ is an on-site civil complaint consultation system where specialized consultation teams composed of officials from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and partner organizations cooperate with local governments to visit residents and resolve grievances through on-site consultations.
Six partner organizations including the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Korea Legal Aid Corporation, Korea National Council on Social Welfare, Korea Consumer Agency, Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, and Financial Supervisory Service participate together to provide consultations on various daily grievances such as labor improvements, legal issues, consumer damage, social welfare benefits, and cadastral disputes.
Grievances or inquiries that can be resolved during the consultation will be addressed immediately on-site, and cases requiring further investigation will be accepted as civil complaints and processed through a detailed investigation process.
Residents wishing to receive consultation must fill out and submit an application form at their town or township office by October 5. If advance reservation is difficult, applications can also be made on-site on the day of the event.
In addition, not only residents of Hampyeong but also nearby residents from Jangseong County and Gwangsan District, Gwangju, can participate.
