Attorney Kang Shin-up, Prosecutor Jin Hye-won Accused of "Defamation"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Jin Hyewon, deputy chief prosecutor of Busan District Prosecutors' Office, who posted mocking comments about First Lady Kim Geonhee, wife of President Yoon Seokyeol, on social networking services (SNS), has been reported to the police.
Kang Shinup, a lawyer who served as the president of Kim's fan club 'Geonhee Sarang,' filed a complaint against Prosecutor Jin on the afternoon of the 15th at the Seocho Police Station in Seoul for charges of insult and defamation. Lawyer Kang claimed that Prosecutor Jin committed an intelligent and cunningly disguised level of the most malicious defamation against the president's wife.
