"Need for Safety and Health Tasks, Will the Public Contribute?" ... Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Announces Next Year's Research Project Contest
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) is directly listening to the voices of the public to address safety and health issues in industrial workplaces.
The agency's Occupational Safety and Health Research Institute plans to hold a national contest to select new research projects for the next year.
This contest is being promoted to broadly discover research topics in the specialized field of industrial accident prevention, including protecting vulnerable groups from industrial accidents and proactively responding to future industrial safety and health issues.
Proposals will focus on topics related to the seven strategic themes of the "Mid- to Long-term Industrial Safety and Health Research Roadmap" promoted by the institute this year, and selected topics will be reflected in next year’s research.
Anyone interested in industrial safety and health in the Republic of Korea can participate in the project contest. The deadline is September 30.
To apply, refer to the instructions in the popup window on the institute’s website, complete the proposal form, and submit it online through the institute’s website.
The institute will announce the contest results on its website in January 2023 and will contact the selected candidates individually.
