Professor Jo Joohyun of Konkuk University Appointed as Director of Real Estate Policy Research Institute at Korea Association of Realtors
[Asia Economy Reporter Noh Kyung-jo] Jo Ju-hyun, Honorary Professor of the Department of Real Estate at Konkuk University (photo), has been appointed as the Director of the Real Estate Policy Research Institute of the Korea Association of Realtors.
According to the association on the 15th, Director Jo is recognized as an expert who has presented challenges and visions for the real estate industry in the real economy sector through various industry-academia-research activities.
In his inaugural remarks, Director Jo stated, "I have made efforts over many years to stabilize and normalize real estate studies as a 'comprehensive applied social science,' a legal, economic, and technological convergence, within the real economy sector. Based on my experience participating in public duties such as government agencies, I will lead the research institute to meet expectations in this important role."

The association plans to enhance its policy functions with Director Jo's appointment. It aims to strengthen research capabilities by delivering opinions on improving the real estate distribution market and the licensed realtor system, as well as policy formulation measures, in line with the rapidly changing real estate market paradigm.
