Gwangju Seo-gu Conducts 'Integrity Education' for Senior Officials
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Yi-gang) conducted integrity training for senior public officials on the 13th at the Deulbul Hall on the 2nd floor of Seo-gu Office.
According to Seo-gu on the 14th, about 70 senior public officials attended the training, which was held for two hours under the theme "Creating a Clean Han World Together."
Jeong Seung-ho, a professional instructor on integrity education, delivered lectures focused on specific cases regarding the Public Officials' Code of Conduct, the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, the Anti-Graft Act, and drunk driving, enhancing participants' understanding of related laws.
In particular, the training was conducted alongside PC video education, allowing employees who could not attend the training site to receive education through their PCs.
A Seo-gu official stated, "We will continue to promote anti-corruption and integrity policies as well as education to spread a culture of integrity and do our best to create a public service society that is more trusted by citizens through fair job performance."
