User Manuscripts and Family Center Program Fields Open for Contest
Targeting Single-Person Household Support and At-Risk Family Support Services
The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the Korea Healthy Family Promotion Agency will hold a contest for outstanding family service essays and programs at family centers from the 14th to the 28th.
The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family is promoting support services that form social networks by life cycle to resolve emotional issues such as crisis situations, loneliness, and isolation experienced by single-person households, and support programs for single-person households are also included in this contest.
This contest was organized to widely publicize the excellent services of family centers and to share and spread outstanding programs among family centers.
The contest categories are divided into user essays from October 2021 to August 2022 by users of family services provided by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and center programs that discover excellent programs by family center workers.
The contest themes consist of five categories supported by family centers: ▲Support services for single-person households (youth, middle-aged, elderly, etc.) ▲Support services for vulnerable and crisis families ▲Family care ▲Individual and family counseling and education ▲Multicultural family support services.
A total of 15 outstanding essays and programs will be selected through expert evaluation, and awards including the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award, the Director of the Korea Healthy Family Promotion Agency Award, and prize money will be given. The selected outstanding essays and programs will be compiled into a casebook and distributed to family centers nationwide and related organizations.
