"Overseas Travel Surge Expected" Daegu City to Expand Nighttime Civil Service Office... Operation Increased from Once to Twice Weekly
From the 13th, Daegu City Hall Dongin Building Night Civil Service Office Extended Until 10 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Daegu City is expanding its nighttime civil service office.
Daegu City announced on the 12th that it will expand the nighttime civil service office, which was operated once a week until 8 p.m. every Tuesday for citizens who find it difficult to visit the civil service office during the day, to twice a week every Tuesday and Thursday until 10 p.m. starting from the 13th.
Daegu City has been operating a nighttime civil service office at the Dongin Government Building for passport application and issuance, as well as international driving license issuance agency services, every Tuesday evening until 8 p.m. to alleviate the inconvenience of citizens who find it difficult to visit the civil service office during weekday daytime hours.
As the spread of COVID-19 decreases, overseas travel is expected to become more active, so nighttime operations have been increased to twice a week.
This makes it more convenient for citizens who urgently need passport reissuance due to expired or lost passports.
Daegu City plans to further expand the operation of the nighttime civil service office according to the demand for passport issuance in the future.
