Jung Hae-in and Go Kyung-pyo Head to Busan... 'Connect' BIFF Premiere
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The Disney+ series "Connect," starring actors Jung Hae-in and Go Kyung-pyo, will be unveiled at this year's Busan International Film Festival.
On the 8th, Disney+ announced that "Connect" (directed by Miike Takashi) has been invited to the On Screen section of the 27th Busan International Film Festival, which opens on the 5th of next month. As Asia's first official OTT section, it showcases the latest series of the year as premiere screenings.
"Connect," set to be released this December, depicts the intense chase of Dong-su, a new race with an immortal body called Connect, who is kidnapped by an organ trafficking organization and has one of his eyes removed. He later discovers that his eye was transplanted to a serial killer who caused a stir in South Korea, and pursues him relentlessly.

Jung Hae-in plays Dong-su, who chases the serial killer to reclaim his stolen eye, while Go Kyung-pyo portrays Jin-seop, the serial killer who possesses the Connect's eye. Kim Hye-jun takes on the role of Lee Rang, a mysterious ally of Dong-su who knows the secrets of the Connect.
