The Korea Financial Investment Association Hosts 'University Student Financial Product Portfolio Competition' in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea Financial Investment Association is hosting the 'University Student Financial Product Portfolio Competition' for university students in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions.
This competition, now in its fourth year, is designed to help university students understand financial investment products and to cultivate the next generation of financial professionals who will lead Busan's financial hub.
Teams of 1 to 4 university students will present financial product portfolios suitable for given scenarios, which will be evaluated by experts from the financial investment industry. To ensure fairness, all evaluations will be conducted blindly.
The grand prize team will receive the Korea Financial Investment Association Chairman's Award along with a prize of 1,000,000 KRW, while two excellence award teams will receive the Chairman's Award and 500,000 KRW each. Teams that reach the finals but do not win will receive a prize of 300,000 KRW.
The final competition will be held on Saturday, November 26, and the final teams will be selected through a preliminary document screening.
