"Taste Hong Kong with Brunch" Banyan Tree Seoul Launches 'Granum Brunch to Hong Kong'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] The all-day dining restaurant Granum Dining Lounge at Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul is launching a weekend brunch buffet promotion called "Granum Brunch to Hong Kong," featuring Hong Kong-style dishes, starting from the 17th of this month to welcome the autumn season.
According to Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul on the 6th, this promotion was designed to let guests enjoy a rich brunch and feel as if they have traveled to the gourmet city of Hong Kong. A variety of dishes prepared in Hong Kong style using seasonal autumn ingredients are available, with main dishes including black bean pork ribs, Sichuan pepper lobster, and "Kung Pao Mero," created in collaboration with renowned Chinese cuisine chef Yeo Kyung-rae. Additionally, guests can savor salmon with chili soy salsa, Beijing duck burrito, Hong Kong BBQ pork belly, fried French toast made fresh by the chef, chicken noodles, and pollock roe egg rolls.
For the welcome drink, milk tea reminiscent of Hong Kong’s tea restaurant (cha chaan teng, 茶餐廳) culture is served alongside the meal. Desserts include glutinous rice donuts, mandarin egg tarts, and jasmine tiramisu. The promotion also offers unlimited servings of "Blue Girl," known as Hong Kong’s national beer. Furthermore, the main dishes are presented in modern porcelain tableware from the newly launched line by the British premium brand Denby, adding a special touch.
Kim Eun-kyung, Food and Beverage Team Leader at Banyan Tree Seoul, said, “To welcome autumn, we have prepared a unique brunch buffet at Granum Dining Lounge. We hope guests enjoy the seasonal ingredient-based menus and Hong Kong-style dishes all in one place, feeling as if they have embarked on a journey.”
