At the meeting presided over by Woo Jong-su, Deputy Commissioner of the National Police Agency, attended by the agency's command staff, provincial police chiefs, and police station chiefs, they decided to immediately activate disaster situation rooms at the National Police Agency, provincial police agencies, and affiliated police stations upon issuance of the typhoon crisis alert level 'Warning' and switch to a 24-hour disaster management system. They also agreed to dispatch police liaison officers to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters and regional disaster countermeasures headquarters to cooperate with related ministries and local governments.
Police units nationwide will also maintain a constant readiness posture for dispatch to conduct rescue operations, on-site control, and recovery support. Preventive patrols in areas at risk of damage and pre-inspections of roads prone to flooding will also be carried out. In case of emergencies, traffic police will be deployed as much as possible to reroute vehicles and provide real-time updates on control situations to ensure citizen safety.

If missing persons occur, available police forces, helicopters, drones, search dogs, and equipment will be deployed. Additionally, police units and volunteer police officers will be dispatched to areas affected by the typhoon to support residents' return to normal life. Deputy Commissioner Woo Jong-su urged, "All commanders nationwide should take the lead and respond proactively and preemptively."
