KGC Ginseng Corporation Launches 'Hyo Delivery' Campaign for Chuseok Holiday
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] KGC Ginseng Corporation announced on the 31st that it will carry out the ‘Hyo (孝) Delivery’ campaign, a sharing project for elderly people living alone, in collaboration with the Seoul branch of the Korean Red Cross to celebrate Chuseok.
The Hyo (孝) Delivery campaign uses funds collected through the ‘Jung Kwan Jang Fund,’ where employees’ contributions are matched 1:1 by the company, combined with amounts raised through netizens’ participation on Naver Happy Bean.
The prepared funds are fully used to provide health products and Chuseok foods such as songpyeon for elderly people living alone in the lower-income bracket who are in welfare blind spots. Additionally, KGC Ginseng Corporation donates Jung Kwan Jang red ginseng products, so the elderly receive a total of three types of gifts: Jung Kwan Jang products, Chuseok foods, and health products.
