Market Kurly's Scarcity Value Project 'Popular'... 200,000 Units Sold in 50 Days
Launch of Over 140 Products Including Fruits and Vegetables
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Market Kurly announced on the 30th that its ‘Heesogachi Project’ products have sold 200,000 units within 50 days of launch, gaining great popularity.
The Heesogachi Project is a curated product section that selects only products meeting at least two of four criteria: diverse varieties, special production environments and methods, expanded gourmet experiences, and sustainable production methods. Every month, new products are carefully selected to provide producers with new distribution channels as well as high-quality content introducing their products, while offering consumers the joy of discovering and purchasing distinctive ingredients.
More than 140 products have been introduced through the Heesogachi Project. The categories are diverse, including fruits, vegetables and grains, seafood, and livestock. The best-selling product is the organic free-range eggs from ‘Daran Farm.’ These eggs are laid by chickens raised on a spacious free-range farm in Damyang, fed 100% organic grain feed, under the care of CEO Song Hongju, Korea’s first organic egg master, and are delivered within 5 days of laying.

A Market Kurly representative said, “Customers who want a special experience that differentiates from regular products, not only with items rarely encountered in daily life such as satgat clams and sanghwang mushrooms but also with everyday ingredients like eggs, rice, and potatoes, are favoring the Heesogachi Project. We will put more effort into discovering valuable Korean ingredients so that customers can access these valuable products, which were difficult to showcase in existing distribution markets, more closely.”
