Shinhan Bank Pulls, Launches Reusable Container Ordering Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunju Lee] Shinhan Bank announced on the 28th that it will start a reusable container ordering service on the delivery app 'Ttaenggyeoyo' to reduce disposable plastic waste and promote an eco-friendly delivery culture.
Starting from the 29th, users will be able to view restaurants using reusable containers through a separate category and banner on 'Ttaenggyeoyo,' and when ordering food from affiliated stores that support reusable container orders, they can select 'Order with reusable container.'
The 'Ttaenggyeoyo' reusable container ordering service will begin in Gangnam-gu and Seocho-gu and gradually expand to Gwanak-gu, Gwangjin-gu, and Seodaemun-gu in the second half of the year. It is notable that there will be no additional customer costs for using reusable containers, supported by budgets from the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Ministry of Environment.
