Hope Sharing People Donates 4 Million Masks
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The organization Hope Sharing People donated 4 million masks (worth 1.2 billion KRW) to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
The donation ceremony was attended by Kang Gijeong, Mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City and honorary chairman of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, Kim Dongwoo, vice chairman of Hope Sharing People, and Park Cheolhong, chairman of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
The donated masks will be distributed to five autonomous districts and social welfare facilities through the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
Vice Chairman Kim Dongwoo said, “We hope this sharing will be of some help to neighbors in care and social welfare sites struggling due to COVID-19.”
