Damyang-gun Signs Investment Agreement for 'Mujeong-myeon Pine Stone CC Development Project'
First Investment Attraction of the 8th Minseon Administration, Scheduled for Completion in August 2026
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 25th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do, announced that it signed an investment agreement with Dongyang Tourism Leisure Co., Ltd. (CEO Gong Seonae) at the county office reception room regarding the Mujeong-myeon Pine Stone CC development project to be established in the Donggang-ri area of Mujeong-myeon.
Through this agreement, Damyang-gun will provide administrative and promotional support related to tourism and culture for successful investment, and Dongyang Tourism Leisure Co., Ltd. will cooperate in the development of Damyang-gun's cultural tourism and the creation of youth jobs.
Dongyang Tourism Leisure Co., Ltd. plans to invest approximately 100 billion KRW by 2026 to develop sports facilities such as an 18-hole golf course and clubhouse, as well as tourism and leisure facilities including an arboretum and townhouses on 1,046,732㎡ of land at San 101, Donggang-ri, Mujeong-myeon.
To this end, more than 90% of the land to be incorporated has been purchased, and moving forward, they plan to listen to residents' opinions, prepare environmental conservation measures for the surrounding area, establish a district unit plan designating the area as a sports facility, obtain project approval from Jeollanam-do, and commence the project by August 2024.
